Ok, so 2 weeks into my mission to pay off my mortgage or part of it early.

So far the BANS sites have netted me a staggering $20 quite depressing actually so more work needs to be put into this.  I’ve optimised the sites, but need to add more unique content.  Most are now listed in google.

I am almost also waiting to here about another opportunity that I’ve managed to find.  Its a property on the market for £140k in need of modernisation, if about £40k is spent on it potentially it could achieve a price of £210k making a £30k profit.  I’ve put in a bid and am waiting to find out about it.

Anyway,  paid £500 off the mortgage during March, My wife and I have just been paid but I haven’t paid anything additional off the mortgage untill I hear about the house.  If I get it then I will need all the cash I can get my hands on.

First Post.

Ok, so here is my first post on my blog. To start of with if you haven’t done so already I suggest you take a look around at some of these other pages to get some background on what I’m up to. Try. About Tomorrow.org.uk Personal Budget Ok ready?  Here we go… Having created a budget and worked out where I am and where I want to be, I believe I can pay an additional £950 per month of the mortgage (hopefully anyway).  So from next month that’s what I will be doing.  Now this is quite a lot of money so I have decided not to pay it all in one go just incase I got my figures wrong.  So I will pay £500 on the 1^st April, £250 on the 15^th April & £200 on the 25^th April. If my calcs are correct this will mean that I can repay an additional £22,800 off my mortgage without have to do anything extra.  As my task is to pay off £75,000 I need to find an additional £52,200 or £2,175 per month. I have been looking for ways of increasing my income and have discovered a system called BANS. BANS allows you to build an online ebay store and show items for sale that are listed on ebay.  If someone purchases them through your store you earn a commission from ebay.  I don’t think this project will achieve the required income, but I’ve done some rough calcs. Let’s just say I set up 35 stores.  If each store earns £1 per day through the commission or google adsense then that’s £1,050 per month towards my goal.  I won’t get this income straight away it will take time to develop the sites and market them so let’s assume that out of the 24 months there active for 20 months that would net £21,000.    This could potentially get me to £43,800 past the half way point in my quest to reduce / repay my mortgage. This almost seems too easy???  If you want to find out more about BANS then try this page which I will develop as my BANS Project Page.
